Our
first stop--Peanut Butter & Co.
Yipee! Ever since their branch in MOA opened this
year, I have been curious of the place and thought it was worth the try. Rae,
her boyfriend, and I went there last Thursday for dinner.
Table Tops
PB&Co.’s
concept is very unique. Except for
coffee and soda, every food they offer has peanut butter in it. This will make
you very curious about how everything tastes like. The menu is fun and very
creative. The place is small and neat.
Menu was a little limited but all were interesting.
We
ordered: PB hot choco (P65), BBQ wings (P165), and curry chicken spaghetti
(P185).
Three cups of steamingPB hot choco. Yummy!
I
should say we were blown away by the peanut butter hot choco. When we removed
the cover, the nutty scent roused us. I'm not a big fan of hot choco but I
liked this one since it’s not too sweet and not too creamy.
Three pieces chicken wings, cut in half, with chili PB
on top.
Nothing
really extraordinary with the BBQ wings. Surprisingly though, the peanut butter
taste did a good job blending in with the spicy bbq flavor.
Curry Chicken Pasta. Taste’s better than it looks in
the picture.
The
Curry Chicken Pasta was the most interesting.
Curry pasta sause is something for all of us. Peanut butter was drizzled
on top but the curry taste was overpowering. The sauce is quite rich and the
taste is enjoyable.
I
wished we ordered something to neutralize all the PB we ate. But all in all, I
could say our dining experience has been satisfactory.
I googled PB Co. and I
found out that their menu is created using each of their 12 peanut butter
flavours - creamy, crunchy, curry, dark chocolate, green tea, chili, cinnamon,
white chocolate, sun-dried tomato, butter cardamom, and sesame. They make their
own peanut butter and it is all natural. They also sell their gourmet peanut
butters jars in their restaurants.
Check this out! They sell cherry-flavored and
caffeine-free coke.
